Chaine historic Bordeaux dinner 2010 & 2015” was March 23, 2025, at Bistro d’Azur, South Orange with Champagne reception.
On Sunday, March 23, 2025, we celebrated another of our chapter’s great traditions, a BYOW Vintage Bordeaux Dinner. Our chapter used to do hold these events on the 10th anniversary of an excellent Bordeaux vintage. It was always a popular event with quite a bit of Bordeaux being consumed and passed around for tasting at other tables. We were planning to do one in 2020 celebrating the 2010 vintage, but Covid intervened. Now in 2025, honored the 2010 and the 2015 vintages.
Members offered selections that were Grand Cru quality. https://www.winespectator.com/articles/the-1855-bordeaux-classification-3491 ensuring that in addition to the champagne, white and dessert wines from our cellars, that members and guests had the opportunity to taste many of the producers from these two great vintages.
